Ideas for Hot Drinks to put in your Thermos for Cold Days

When the temperature outside starts to drop, it's nice to have something to keep you warm and what's better than a hot drink after an after-noon playing in the snow on a Ski-Doo or Cam-Am Off-Road? Here are some ideas for drinks that you can put in your thermos and enjoy on a cold day.

Hot Cocoa with a Twist

Who doesn't love hot cocoa? It's the perfect drink to cozy up on a cold winter day. But why not take your hot cocoa to the next level by adding a few fun ingredients? Try adding a shot of espresso for a little caffeine boost.

3 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Cocoa powder (optional)

Preparation Instructions:

1. In a small saucepan, combine the milk, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir until well combined and the chocolate chips are melted.

2. Heat over medium heat, frequently stirring, until the mixture comes to a boil.

3. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for about 5 minutes, or until thickened.

4. Serve warm with marshmallows and a sprinkling of cocoa powder on top, if desired
